Inside Ferrari Luce EV: the interior designed by Jony Ive
What would the Apple car have looked like if it hadn't been canceled?
Engadget has shared several photos of Ferrari’s first electric car, the “Luce.” Its interior design was done by LoveFrom, a studio founded by former Apple design chief Jony Ive, who left Apple.

The publication notes that the design clearly shows Ive’s signature style – a lot of round elements and squares with rounded edges. The interior is rich in Gorilla Glass panels and aluminum trim, the colors of which are familiar to the iPhone: silver, space gray, and rose gold.
Ive said he owns a variety of vintage cars and believes modern cars lack “tactility,” which is why many features, such as seat and air conditioning controls, are implemented as physical switches rather than touchscreens. “It was very clear to us that we needed to figure out as many ways as possible to viscerally and physically connect to the interface.”
