The author analyzed critic and audience ratings from IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, and Letterboxd.
Reddit user Yeigermeister compiled a list of the 100 best movies of all time by analyzing ratings from major platforms – IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, and Letterboxd – taking into account both critical and audience feedback.
This cross-platform ranking was led by Coppola’s cult gangster film “The Godfather” (1972), which scored 95.6 points out of 100. The top ten also included “12 Angry Men”, “Seven Samurai”, “Schindler’s List”, “Casablanca”, “Rear Window”, “Spiritual Journey”, “Singin’ in the Rain”, “The Godfather Part II”, and “Grave of the Fireflies”.
