The ‘Riso Gallo’ brand regains a unified identity
The Italian identity of "Riso Gallo" was created and emphasized.
Since 1856, Riso Gallo has occupied a place in the hearts and homes of Italians. Not only because of its 170-year history or its iconic communication with the rooster mascot and the memorable slogan “Chicchiricchì”, but also because of what it actually offers to consumers: the widest range on the market with high-quality sustainable products, creative recipes, and constant innovation.
Over time, the portfolio’s expansion has led to the brand identity becoming more distinct across the various products.

How can a brand regain a unified identity by telling its DNA, history and origins, while preserving the specific characteristics created by each product?

Break took on this delicate challenge by starting with the logo, the first and most important element of the rebranding process. The brand’s main symbol, the rooster, was incorporated into a new circular seal inspired by the original 1856 mark. As at the beginning, the historical date and the word “Riso” return to the spotlight.

The new logo thus becomes the cornerstone of the brand identity around which the entire product range revolves. The revision of existing categories is carried out with a continuity-based approach, enriched with typography and images that convey the highest quality, dynamism, and modernity.
