‘Hoppers’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year
The first reviews of the animated film about a robot beaver with the consciousness of a girl have appeared online - critics gave the film a good rating.
Hoppers will have families flocking to the theaters as Pixar returns to capture everyone’s hearts with another absolutely stunning computer-generated adventure. The inventive story hysterically explores “Avatar” and “Game of Thrones” with thoughtful conservation themes.
Kids also learn a hidden lesson in coping with tragedy, valuing friendship, and resolving conflict in stressful situations. The energetic and determined main character learns that teamwork helps dreams come true, with a touch of sadness. Hoppers, like “Up” and “Inside Out”, lead to a tearful, happy ending.

The first reviews of “Hoppers,” the new Pixar film about a girl whose mind is transferred into a robotic beaver so that it can communicate with animals, have surfaced online. Early audiences and critics have given the film positive reviews.
Ratings:
- Metacritic : 77/100 (based on 25 reviews)
- Rotten Tomatoes : 97% “fresh” (based on 70 reviews)
- IMDb : 7.6/10 (based on 1,000 ratings)
- Letterboxd — 3.8/5.0 (based on 13,000 ratings)
The film is praised for its humor and originality. Still, the robot beaver movie doesn’t quite reach the level of the first Inside Out or the classic Pixar films. Some were unhappy with the cartoon’s naivety, calling the characters and plot superficial.
The world premiere of “Hoppers” begins on March 6.
