For now, the Google Gemini AI assistant is only available on the newly launched TCL QM9K series. Google promises more “free conversations on the big screen.”

At launch, the Gemini AI assistant is only available on the newly released TCL QM9K series, but later this year, it will expand to the Google TV Streamer, Walmart Onn 4K Pro, 2025 Hisense U7, U8, and UX models, and 2025 TCL QM7K, QM8K, and X11K models.
While the existing Google Assistant already responds to certain voice commands, Gemini will facilitate more “free-flowing conversations with your big screen,” Google says.
Google wants the Gemini to be everywhere. Students can ask a chatbot to simply explain a topic or even order a YouTube video tutorial for their school projects. The same goes for those who want to learn a new skill, like playing the guitar or making a new dish in the kitchen.
“This is just the beginning, more Gemini features are coming to TVs soon,” Google says in the announcement, which comes just weeks after “Microsoft Copilot” launched on select Samsung TVs with similar features.
