‘Starbucks’ unveils (2025) holiday cups
Starbucks is celebrating with 2025 festive cup designs and menus.
On Thursday, November 6, the coffee chain’s eagerly awaited holiday cups will hit stores, along with a festive menu and holiday merchandise, including the viral “Bearista Cold Cup”, and with their ribbon-inspired designs, the coffee giant ties the season together with a touch of nostalgia and the unmistakable scent of peppermint mochas in the air.

This year’s Starbucks holiday cups are inspired by the bright green and red aprons that baristas wear during the holidays, according to a press release from the company.
“There is something unmistakably magical about that moment the cups arrive – it’s as if the season officially begins,” – said Starbucks creative director Kristy Cameron.
The holiday mug tradition has been around since 1997, and this year features fun designs in red and green. Each mug also comes with a white label on the back for baristas to write a message on.

The return of the cups coincides with the launch of Starbucks’ winter menu, which features the return of fan-favorite drinks like the “Peppermint Mocha”, “Caramel Brulée Latte”, and “Iced Sugar Cookie Latte”, along with new treats like the “Cinnamon Pull-Apart”.

A “Hello Kitty” themed merchandise capsule featuring reusable cups and plush accessories also debuted separately, complementing the seasonal lineup. The festivities continue on November 13, when the chain celebrates its annual Red Cup Day, when customers who order a handmade festive drink receive a free reusable red cup while supplies last.
