Appartement 103 unveils ‘Oyster Gin’ – the greenest expression of nature
Appartement 103 built the brand from the ground up, including structural bottle design, visual identity, and a global brand world.
From Cartier’s panther to Hermès’ horse and Fabergé eggs, luxury brands have always drawn inspiration from nature. Its power comes from the universal dualities it embodies and the way it evokes our deepest emotions: fragile yet fierce, timeless yet ever-changing, raw yet refined.
This tension reflects luxury’s quest to create objects that resonate both emotionally and symbolically.

In a spirits industry that prizes eco-consciousness and authenticity, nature, often used as an ornamental detail in design, can take center stage and become the foundation of a lifestyle and deeper meaning, as we’ve embodied with Oyster Gin.

Oyster Gin is made in Montenegro, where rugged mountains meet the Adriatic Sea, and draws inspiration from a terroir characterized by purity, understated elegance and hedonism. The agency’s goal was to transform this Adriatic art of living into an identity that would stand out in the premium spirits segment, while being iconic and specific to its location.
Appartement 103 built the brand from the ground up, as to Create an “oyster bottle” in its purest form ran the risk of appearing too banal, so the challenge was to accurately and sophisticatedly convey the forms of nature, reinterpreting them. The goal was to create a sculptural, iconic bottle – as memorable an object of desire as the unique shape of the oyster.
The sculptural shape of the bottle draws inspiration from the oyster shell, an iconic look with natural irregularities that protect the refined beverage inside. The embossed, organic silhouette evokes layered layers, while the clear glass with a subtle greenish tint enhances the narrative, creating a soft “water echo” like a wave meeting the shore. The result is tangible, elegant and instantly recognizable.

Typography, branding, and iconography are quiet and elegant in their details, allowing the bottle’s iconic shape to lead.
“Our collaboration with Appartement 103 has been both inspiring and seamless. Their talent for elevating branding while crafting a distinctive structural bottle shape has brought our vision to life in a way that feels truly iconic.” – Dmitri Nasalskiy, Marketing Director, Noblewood Group
In an age of noise, Oyster Gin speaks softly. A creation through which Appartement 103 reminds us that nature’s timeless forms still give rise to the most iconic expressions of luxury.
