The Grinch as the mischievous saboteur of McDonald’s Christmas
The McDonald's "Grinch menu" will appeal to those who hate the holidays but want to eat well like during the holidays.
McDonald’s UK, in partnership with Leo UK, is launching a national festive campaign, “McDonald’s Christmas Grinched,” which depicts the Grinch as a mischievous saboteur of McDonald’s Christmas.

The campaign firmly puts the Grinch in charge with a fully integrated, cross-channel campaign that aims to “sabotage” McDonald’s this Christmas and derail the brand’s holiday plans with the introduction of the “Grinch Meal.” The collaboration aims to provide a broad audience with a sense of light relief and nostalgia amidst the chaos of the holiday season.




The Grinch-designed “Grinch Meal,” which looks “disgustingly good,” includes a Big Mac, 9 McNuggets or McPlants, and a Grinch McShaker© fries, a beverage of choice, and unusual Grinch-themed socks.
