Apple halts orders for some versions of ‘Mac Mini’ and ‘Mac Studio’
In addition, the delivery time for available versions is three months.
Apple’s US online store is no longer offering configurations with higher RAM, 9to5Mac has learned.
The Mac mini in question comes in 32GB and 64GB RAM options, and the Mac Studio in 128GB and 256GB RAM options. Those models are now marked as “temporarily unavailable.” The versions that are still available are facing delays of one to three months. Last month, Apple completely removed the ability to order the 512GB Mac Studio.

Perhaps the main reason is the global shortage of memory chips, which companies are now buying in bulk to build artificial intelligence servers.
Apple is expected to update the Mac Studio with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips at its WWDC keynote in June, and introduce new Mac minis with M5 and M5 Pro processors in September or October of this year.
