Apple to unveil 6 new devices: here’s what to expect
Apple is creating new categories of devices beyond iPhones and Macs.
Apple plans to introduce as many as six completely new product categories to its users in the coming years. Technology analysts say that among them will be not only AirPods with cameras or smart glasses, but also a home robot and a smart pendant.
These projects are already in development, and some of them may appear on the market in the next few years, reports Mark Gurman, a journalist who follows Apple news, on the technology and business podcast TBPN.

More than phones
A well-known Apple insider said that, based on internal sources, Apple is currently planning to gradually expand its product categories further and move away from the smart devices and computing sectors towards products that operate inconspicuously and are integrated into everyday environments.
The journalist mentions the following products:
- AI-powered AirPods.
- Smart glasses.
- Pendant.
- Smart screen.
- Table robot.
- Security camera.
The “engine” of change – artificial intelligence
Almost all future devices will be connected to AI in one way or another. This means that technologies will not only execute commands, but will also be able to understand the environment, analyze images or sound, and provide contextual suggestions.
For example, next-generation headphones could “see” their surroundings through integrated cameras, while smart glasses could provide real-time information about objects or places. This direction suggests that Apple is aiming to create a personal assistant that would accompany the user throughout the day.
Moreover, as you can see, the greatest attention is paid to wearable technologies. And this is not new – the market is gradually “moving” away from screens to an environment where users could receive information faster and more naturally, without constantly looking at their phone.
Apple will also strengthen its position in smart home solutions. The planned smart display, security camera and robot show that Apple wants to compete with other market players in the field of home technology.

Not everything will reach the market
However, it is important to emphasize that these are development projects, not approved products. Technology companies often test various ideas, but not all of them become real devices.
So far, the most widely known are smart glasses, which could be a simpler alternative to the Apple Vision Pro, supplemented not so much with virtual reality, but with AI, and could appear as early as next year. There are also rumors about smart headphones with camera integration, since Apple has already developed the AirPods platform.
While not all of these projects will necessarily reach the market, their direction is clear – Apple aims to create a new era of technology use, in which devices run in the background and become a permanent part of the user’s environment. And it will be up to the new Apple CEO to implement this.
