The company just released a four-minute animated short called “Close To You,” about a small baby and a possibly sentient pacifier. However, it’s unclear who the short is aimed at, or if it’s a sign of something bigger from Nintendo.

It’s charming and incredibly well-made. The strangest thing is how it was revealed to the world. It just popped up on social media on a random Tuesday, with only the title, and even that’s just a guess. It could just be a headline.
