Create, texture, and animate Low‑Poly 3D models with this tool
Be creative and welcome to try this new picoCAD 2.
Johan Peitz has released picoCAD 2, a fun and accessible 3D application based on LÖVE that allows you to model, texture, and animate low-poly creations.

picoCAD 2 provides an easy-to-use toolset that allows anyone to create retro-style models without any prior experience. The integrated texture editor lets you see the pixel art directly on your models as you draw, and the motion tools let you easily animate your work.
PicoCAD 2 also supports GIF, GLTF and OBJ/MTL export for porting your models to modern game engines, and sprite sheet export so you can create sprite sheets of any number of frames and sizes.
picoCAD 2 is a complete re-build from the ground up, with many improvements over the original version. According to the developer, it’s like going from NES to SNES. The first feature update has already been released, focusing on colors and palettes. It also adds full support for Macs with Intel/x86 architecture.
