‘Cupra’ – the hypnotic test drive ad campaign
Driving through the jungle and stopping to feel the car.
How do you get people to actually feel the thrill of driving a car that isn’t even roadworthy yet? This question inspired “Hypnotic Test Drive.”

This first-of-its-kind experiment invited a group of content creators to “drive” the CUPRA Tindaya – a show car not yet designed for road use – using only their thoughts, during individual hypnosis sessions led by a professional hypnotherapist.
During these sessions, participants experienced sensations of speed, control, and connection without even leaving their seats. Each test drive was then visualized using artificial intelligence, bringing the participants’ imaginations to life and allowing viewers to experience the car through their own minds.





The creators, including Becky Evans, Jeremy Lynch, Jessica Thön, Daniel Abt, Victor Melida, and Luca Campolunghi, shared their journeys on social platforms, and the entire experiment is being published on CUPRA’s YouTube channel.
