DJI unveiled the ‘Avata 360’ FPV drone + features
With support for 360-degree 8K video recording.
The device is equipped with a dual-camera system that allows you to capture the entire surrounding space and select the desired angle during post-processing. DJI has entered the 360-degree FPV drone market. The new “Avata 360” features two 1/1.1-inch square CMOS sensors with a 2.4-μm pixel size for low-light shooting.

The drone can record 8K spherical video at 60 fps with HDR support, as well as take photos at up to 120 MP. A single-lens shooting mode is available for standard format video at 4K resolution at 60 fps. The front lens is replaceable if damaged.
Weighing approximately 455 grams, the drone can stay in the air for up to 23 minutes. It supports omnidirectional obstacle sensing, ActiveTrack 360° and Spotlight Free smart tracking modes, and is equipped with 42 GB of internal memory and a Wi-Fi 6 module. It communicates using the O4+ data transmission system, which offers a range of up to 20 km and 1080p video streaming at 60 fps.
The DJI Avata 360 was released in China on March 26. A global release is expected soon, with a European price of approximately €459.
