Elon Musk announced that his startup (xAI) is developing an app called “Baby Grok”, a separate version of Grok with content for children. There is no information yet about features or a release date.
Baby Grok can help address concerns about the safe use of AI services by children. However, given previous incidents, questions about moderation and adherence to children’s standards remain open.
xAI was founded by Musk in 2023 in response to growing competition in the field of generative artificial intelligence. Its main product is Grok, an artificial intelligence chatbot tightly integrated with the social network X, which is also owned by Musk.
Earlier this month, xAI released its chatbot “Grok 4”, just months after the previous version, underscoring the rapid pace of AI development. The update also came after the bot shared a series of anti-Semitic comments about X that drew widespread condemnation.
