Gadhouse launches ‘Miko’, a portable cassette player with Bluetooth
Follows the growing trend of vintage culture.
Gadhouse, known for its vintage-style turntables, is following the same path. The Bangkok-based music and lifestyle brand has introduced the Miko cassette player, which combines the aesthetics of 1980s and 1990s Japanese design with modern features like Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

In addition to its retro design, the cassette player features a transparent casing that allows the user to see the internal mechanical parts in action. The integration of Bluetooth 5.3 is also important, as it allows the use of wireless headphones – a modern convenience that is not available on older players. Finally, the 3.5mm Aux input and Aux output with recording support provide versatility, allowing you to listen to music on wired devices and easily record audio.

It is designed to deliver clear stereo sound and an immersive listening experience. The 28mm flywheel is a big advantage as it helps maintain a consistent tape speed, reducing “wow and flutter.”
There are five simple buttons for smooth on-the-go operation. Other key highlights include a 50 dB signal-to-noise ratio for decent clarity, an output level of 350 mV @ 32 Ω, and support for 32 Ω impedance, making it well-suited for standard headphones.
That’s not all, as it’s designed with maximum flexibility in mind. The Miko cassette player can be powered by two AA batteries or via USB-C for uninterrupted playback. It’s designed for people who love the warm sound of analog cassettes but want the convenience of wireless listening.
It can be pre-ordered for $99 from Gadhouse’s official website right now, with shipping starting from 15 April 2026.
