‘Galaxy S26 Ultra’ will ditch the titanium frame and follow its competitor
Is Samsung's legendary design duo back in business?
A well-known source, Ice Universe, reported on its blog X that Samsung is planning to ditch titanium from the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s design and return to aluminum. The source believes that Samsung has found no other reason for this than its blind following of Apple.
To remind you, Apple has returned to an aluminum body for the iPhone 17 Pro after two years of using titanium. The company said that aluminum dissipates heat better than titanium.
Samsung, for its part, used a titanium frame on the Galaxy S24 Ultra and S25 Ultra. More precisely, the frame itself was made of aluminum and coated with titanium.
