9to5google reports that Google’s AI Pro plan, which includes access to Gemini, Veo, and Nano Banana, is now offered with up to 5TB of storage, while the price remains the same.

Previously, Google AI Pro subscribers got 2TB for $19.99, the same amount as the $9.99 plan. Now, the storage has been increased to 3TB for the same price. It can be used not only to back up AI, but also to back up Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos.
The changes are reflected in the product’s promotional materials, but are not yet available on one.google.com or the mobile app.

Subsequent storage upgrades will cost $49.99/month for 10TB, $99.99/month for 20TB, and $149.99/month for 30TB. In comparison, the cheaper $7.99 AI Plus plan offers only 200GB of storage.
This update is somewhat reminiscent of Google’s announcement of Gmail from 2004, with a then-unheard-of 1 GB of storage.
Additionally, there are updates for Gemini in the Google AI Pro and Ultra plans: The AI can now get context from Gmail and web pages for Google Drive, Docs, Slides, and Sheets. There’s also a quick email preview and auto-correction before sending, but only for US users for now.
