Google had already implemented this feature in its AI-powered video tool “Flow”, which was introduced in May at Google’s I/O developer conference.
After launching Veo 3 video-generation feature in may, the company last week made the feature available in over 150 countries. Currently, only users on the “Google AI Ultra” and “Google AI Pro” plans can create videos, with a limit of three creations per day without no carry-over.
Google says users can generate a video by selecting the “Videos” option from the tools menu in the prompt box and uploading a photo. You can also add audio by describing the audio in the prompt. Once the video is generated, you can download it or share it with others.
The company noted that since the app’s launch seven weeks ago, users have created more than 40 million videos using the Gemini app and Flow tool.
All videos generated using the Veo 3 model will feature a visible watermark with the words “Veo” and an invisible digital watermark called SynthID, which Google’s AI tool uses to identify AI-powered digital artifacts.
