Google has released Veo 3.1 Lite, the most cost-effective video generation model. The neural network is designed for developers creating apps that handle large volumes of video content.
This model operates at the same speed as the Veo 3.1 Fast, but is more than 50% cheaper. The Veo 3.1 Lite supports Text-to-Video and Image-to-Video formats, allowing you to create videos with a horizontal aspect ratio of 16:9 and vertical aspect ratio of 9:16.

You can also choose the length of the generated video – 4, 6, or 8 seconds – and the final price will be adjusted accordingly. This model is already available on paid plans in the Gemini API and Google AI Studio, and Google also plans to reduce the price of Veo 3.1 Fast on April 7.
