Huawei to launch ‘Pura 90 Pro’ and ‘Pro Max’ flagships on April 20
The new devices will feature flat metal edges and bright gradient body colors, reminiscent of the "Huawei P20 Pro" style.
Huawei has officially announced the launch date for its new flagship Pura 90 series, which will take place on April 20. This year, rumors suggest that only two models will be released: the “Pura 90 Pro” and the “Pura 90 Pro Max.” The company has canceled the release of the Ultra version.
The smartphones will feature a flat metal edge design, a screen with minimal bezels, and the now distinctive triangular camera block on the back.
According to Huawei Central, the colors of the upcoming flagships have also become known:
- Huawei Pura 90 Pro: Mulberry Black, Coconut White, Orange soda, and Pink Guava.
- Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max: Obsidian Black, Dawn Gold, Purple Sunset, Orange Ocean, and Emerald Lake.
The camera unit will include a main sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a periscope telephoto lens, controlled by the XMAGE system, which should improve photo processing and zooming.
The new products will be powered by the new Kirin chip with artificial intelligence features and will run on HarmonyOS 6.
