IKEA folds nature into your home with handmade paper flowers
These realistic paper flowers will enrich your home interior.
A new range of flowers at IKEA is based on the idea that flowers don’t have to be real to feel lifelike. The GULDSPETT series introduces a range of delicate, handmade “flowers” made entirely of paper, designed as an affordable and versatile home decor option.

The collection features familiar flower types such as roses, poppies, cosmos, and ranunculus, each rendered with soft color gradients and folded textures that replicate real petals.

However, they don’t require watering, sunlight, or care other than occasional dusting, making them suitable for spaces where real plants might struggle.
Because the flowers bloom forever, they can be arranged, rearranged, and revisited over time to freshen up your home. A single stem can be a minimal accent, or the bouquet can be gradually expanded into a larger display.

“When you look at the details on flowers and leaves in nature, it’s totally amazing. The colors, the vibrancy, the shapes,” explains Sofia Snygg, IKEA developer for living and artificial plants and flowers. “We had great fun finding ways to replicate those intricacies as closely as possible… I hope that GULDSPETT brings a lot of that joy into people’s homes.”
