IKEA – for every 4,000 steps you take in the store, you get a 10% discount
For now, the "Step Buy Step" promotion is only valid in Saudi Arabia's stores.
IKEA has decided to turn its long, labyrinthine retail spaces into a customer service space. Now, at the store entrance, visitors are given special bracelets that count their steps.
The terms are simple: if a customer walks at least 4,000 steps before paying at the checkout, they will receive a 10% discount on their final bill. The offer is valid for “IKEA Family” loyalty program members.
Currently available in only four cities in Saudi Arabia: Jeddah, Medina, Riyadh, and Dhahran, the initiative was launched to support local government programs that promote healthy lifestyles.
