Intel announced the launch of “Ask Intel,” a chatbot developed by Copilot that will act as a support agent. He will be able to process user queries before calling a live operator, check product warranties, and advise on how to solve problems.
Intel clarifies that the virtual assistant can be wrong in its answers. A PC World writer tried the bot, but in his case, Ask Intel provided more harmful advice than helpful advice.
When asked about the failures of 13th and 14th-generation Intel desktop processors, which caused a major scandal and caused users to switch to AMD chips, the robot first suggested downloading new graphics card drivers and then running a processor stress test, which, given the causes of the failures, would only exacerbate the problems.
