This countdown to the Moon with sprinkles! Krispy Kreme marks NASA’s next big step in Moon exploration with a donut created for the moment.

The company has introduced a limited-edition Artemis II Doughnut, which will be available nationwide from March 31 to April 2, 2026, to coincide with the mission’s launch window. The release is in celebration of NASA’s Artemis II mission, which took astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen on a roughly 10-day journey around the Moon – the first manned mission of its kind in more than half a century.
Made with Krispy Kreme’s original glazed base, it’s filled with cookies and cream, covered in white icing, and decorated with blue swirls and silver sprinkles that evoke images of space. The red chevron is reminiscent of NASA’s visual identity.

Artemis II does not include a Moon landing, but it marks a step toward future missions that will. By flying around the Moon with a crew, NASA is pursuing long-term goals in deep space exploration.
