LEGO Shrek sets unveiled for the series’ 25th anniversary
A collectible diorama and BrickHeadz figures will go on sale, scheduled to begin on June 1st, 2026.
The LEGO Group and Universal have unveiled two new LEGO Shrek sets, scheduled for release later this year, in celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary.

In 2026, the original Shrek movie turns a quarter of a century (that’s a lot), and to mark the occasion, the LEGO Group created a pair of demo models in June that will hit store shelves – and there will probably be more to come, because as LEGO creative director Raquel Ojeda says, “this is just the beginning.”
LEGO Shrek, Donkey, and Puss in Boots
A 1,403-piece collector’s set. For $130, buyers will receive a detailed swamp diorama with a “Beware Ogre!” sign. The set includes buildable figures of Shrek and Donkey, as well as a mini figure of Puss in Boots.

The set features recognizable references: an onion, a blue flower, and Easter eggs hidden inside Shrek. At launch, this set will be exclusive to LEGO stores.
LEGO BrickHeadz: Shrek, Donkey, and Gingy
A 259-piece set for $25. Includes figures in the recognizable square style of the BrickHeadz line. Inside are Shrek, Donkey, and Ginger, as well as a small warning sign from the swamp.

Pre-orders for both new products are now open, with full sales scheduled for June 1, 2026.
