MACK announces a new ‘Cinema Club’
A new screening series showcasing films and moving image works created or curated by MACK artists.
Publisher Mack has launched a new series of film screenings, the Mack Cinema Club. The screenings will take place at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London and will feature films and moving image works created or curated by Mack artists on the platform.
The first event, on April 8, will feature two of photographer Larry Sultan’s favorite films to commemorate Mack’s recently posthumously published collection of essays, “Water Above Thunder”. The screenings will include Bruce Conner’s experimental film “5:10 to Dreamland” (1974) and Todd Haynes’ cult psychological classic, “Safe” (1995).
