Meta will raise prices on its ‘Quest 3 VR’ headsets
The reason is the rise in component prices.
The company announced new prices for its Quest 3 and Quest 3S line of headsets on its website. The announcement doesn’t specify how much the VR headset cost before the price increase, but Arstechnica notes that the increase was between $50 and $100.
Meta notes that the change was driven by increased prices for key components, primarily memory chips.
New prices:
- Meta Quest 3S (128GB) – $349.
- Meta Quest 3S (256GB) – $449.
- Meta Quest 3 (512GB) – $599.
The updated pricing will come into effect on April 19, 2026.
