Motorola is set to unveil five new devices at CES next week. One of the most important debuts is the new flagship Motorola “Signature”, which is aimed at the high-end and professional user. According to preliminary information, the Motorola Signature will offer a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, three 50 MP cameras, and a unique Extreme AMOLED display with an ultra-high refresh rate of 165 Hz.

Evan Blass, better known as @evleaks, has detailed all the specs of the Motorola Signature in an X post. It features a photo of the device, which is in line with other Motorola designs from recent years, but also has a few luxury touches. However, the specs are what really stand out, as they are flagship-level.
This includes a 6.8-inch LPTO AMOLED display with remarkably slim bezels for a 95% screen-to-body ratio and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and there are rumors of stylus support. It also has up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, up to 16GB of RAM, a 5,200 mAh silicon-carbon battery, 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, all wrapped up in a remarkably thin 6.99mm chassis.
The camera array is made up of a trio of 50MP cameras, including a Sony LYTIA 828 main sensor, ultrawide with macro support, and a 3x telephoto camera. There’s also a 50MP front-facing camera.
Unofficial promotional material reveals five new Motorola products that are expected to be officially unveiled at CES. In addition to the main Signature model, we can also see a dedicated one for the first time.
What’s new in this smartphone?
Previous leaks have already shown off the textile back surface and the square camera module. The new material also shows off the stylus. What is already known about this model:
- replaceable nozzle;
- A cover with the Motorola logo (which probably hides the USB-C connector);
- Button on the body.
Perhaps the biggest standout is the software. Signature has Android 16 out of the box, with 7 years of both security and OS updates, way beyond the usual for Motorola devices. The only spec that sits below a “true” flagship is the chipset, which is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite.
Probably the smartphone will be released on January 7, and we will announce its arrival.
