Motorola’s ‘Razr’ – its first crystal-embedded foldable phone

There’s also a new color for its crystal-embedded headphones.

Motorola has unveiled an undeniably chic foldable phone with embedded Swarovski crystals. These two companies have joined hands and made it the one of a kind phone called “Razr” with real crystals. Should we adore it for that? Maybe we should.

The flip phone has 34 crystals embedded in the faux leather finish, with a larger 35th one attached to the hinge. You can register now to get a $1,000 set. Motorola hasn’t shown where the other three crystals are on the device.

Along with the new Swarovski phone, the brand also introduced another pair of crystal-encrusted Moto Buds Loop earphones. In April, the brand introduced two different Buds Loop designs, one of which, in collaboration with Swarovski, comes in a French oak color. Now, the phone is accompanied by an Ice Melt version.

Motorola hasn’t announced the price of its new Ice Melt Buds Loop headphones yet, but the first version in French oak is selling for $299.99 at major retailers. We’d expect Motorola to charge the same for these headphones.

The new Motorola Razr with Swarovski crystals costs $999.99, which makes it $300 more than the standard $699.99 price. The phone will be available to buy through Amazon, Best Buy, and Motorola on August 7, before coming to Cricket Wireless a week later on August 15.
