Disappointed that Xiaomi’s new flagships with a second screen on the back haven’t been released in the US yet? Nuu Mobile claims that its “B40” is the first US phone with a second screen, even though at $299.99 it’s not a flagship. Its Dimensity 7050 chip is basic, and the 64-megapixel main camera is joined only by a macro camera.

While the secondary display on the Nuu B40 is much smaller compared to Xiaomi’s smartphone, it’s still quite functional and should reduce the use of the much larger main display.
Features:
- All-New Dual Display Technology : 6.7” FHD+ AMOLED & 1.6” secondary AMOLED displays
- 120hz refresh rate
- MediaTek Dimensity 7025
- 2.5GHz Octa Core processor
- 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage
- 5000mAh battery with 33W Fast Charge
- Rear Camera: 64MP + 2MP, Front Camera: 16MP
- Runs Android 15

The product page states that the secondary touchscreen can be used for a variety of functions. It can display the time and date (with automatic screen display), playback controls, charging status, call and message viewing, and step count. It can also be used as a camera viewfinder and camera shutter.

The camera app allows users to record videos using the front and rear cameras simultaneously. It also has a pro mode and will enable users to save in RAW format.
The Nuu B40 has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-SIM support, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. However, it lacks NFC and an audio jack. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast wired charging.
The Nuu B40, priced at $299.99, is available now in Midnight Gray and is compatible with T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Mint, US Mobile, and more.
