Pantone LLC, the global color authority and provider of professional color standards for the design industry, today released the Spring/Summer 2026 edition of the Pantone® Fashion Color Trends Report.
This season’s report presents the ten most prominent colors for the fashion industry, as well as six new off-season shades that we can expect to see when fashion designers present their new spring/summer 2026 collections.
This season of contrasts sees bright colors juxtaposed with softer neutrals, creating space for personal expression. The palette is at the crossroads of vibrancy and restraint.
According to DesignTaxi, saturated tones such as Acacia, a green-tinged yellow, and Lava Falls, a fiery red, are combined alongside quieter shades like Dusty Rose and Tea Rose to create collections that felt both dramatic and wearable. The inclusion of Alexandrite, a teal with a moody depth, and Muskmelon, an energetic orange, bring about a spectrum that spans optimism, passion, and calm.

The seasonless shades
In addition to the main accents, Pantone also highlighted a number of “seasonless” neutrals to ensure versatility while encouraging playful combinations.
The dark brown of Coffee Bean, the soft white-gray of Whyte Onyx and the warm beige of Angora became sources of more intense shades. Greens such as sage and forest green (sycamore) further enhance this balance, giving designers a solid basis for experimentation.
