Brooklyn, NY. The time is coming and one of the biggest brands of the world Samsung very soon will present the newest products for this summer, 2025.
We should be getting the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Watch 8, and 8 Classic. And maybe more details on its AR headset? Of course Galaxy AI will be the main spike of talking in this event.
“With AI leading the way, Galaxy devices are evolving from reactionary smartphones to anticipatory smart companions – transforming how we communicate, create, and connect,” Samsung says.
Galaxy AI has been a prominent feature of Samsung’s smartphones since its debut two years ago. It continues to gain new capabilities each year.
Powerful “Folding Phones”
A one thing is for sure. We will get to know an updated versions of Samsung folding phones.
The company’s press release notes that its foldable phone journey will reach “a new milestone” with a Galaxy Z that’s “the thinnest, lightest, and most advanced foldable yet-meticulously crafted and built to last.”
The technical insights according to Pcmag.com and Phonearena.com the Flip will have the following specs:
- Exterior display: 4.1 inches, 1.25 mm bezels, 120 Hz refresh rate, 2600 nits;
- Interior display: 6.9 inches, 21:9 ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate, 2600 nits;
- Folded thickness: 13.7 mm;
- Unfolded thickness: 6.5 mm;
- Battery: 4,300 mAh;
- Weight: 188 grams.
Meanwhile, the Fold will have the following specs:
- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite;
- Exterior display: 6.5 inches;
- Interior display: 8 inches;
- Main camera: 200 MP;
- Front camera: 10 MP with 100-degree wide-angle;
- Folded thickness: 8.9 mm;
- Unfolded thickness: 4.2 mm;
- Weight: 215 grams;
- Frame: enhanced armored aluminum;
- Back panel: glass ceramic.
We are not sure what the phone processor or the cameras will look like, though rumors claim the phone will be powered by the Exynos 2500 chip in at least some markets. We’ll also have to wait until July 9 for pricing details.
At least (two) “Galaxy Watches”
“The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 should come in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with an option for Wi-Fi-only or LTE-enabled. It will carry over many of the specs from the Galaxy Watch 7, so you can bet it will have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage at a minimum.” pcmag.com says.
“The AMOLED displays will likely have a 60Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits of brightness. Google Gemini will surely be on board in some form, though it’s unclear if Samsung will give the Watch 8 family a new processor or any other new features.” – according to pcmag.com
As we are not sure about more technical details and prices for this devices, they will be presented after 9 of July.
HR Headset: “Project Moohan”
Before the official release we got some leaked news about “Project Moohan”. These Android XR headphones are generating a lot of curiosity and hype. During the Google I/O event, the managing editor of Toomguide.com Philip Michaels was able to test Project Moohan personally and see what these headphones are capable of.
It is expected to provide a more immersive experience for a variety of content, whether it is entertainment or productivity, but while intriguing, the biggest question remains – the price.
Samsung didn’t share any of the headset’s specs or features. Samsung is said to be planning a separate event later dedicated specifically to the Project Moohan, so it’s unlikely the company will reveal pricing or availability at this event.
