The AI boom, which benefits advanced chipmakers, has pushed up prices for Samsung’s regular DRAM and NAND chips, which are needed for data center servers. Demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips is still lagging, but Samsung just reported its best fiscal quarter in more than three years.
