Just a few weeks after launch, Samsung has started offering direct price discounts on the Galaxy S26 series, and major retailers are matching these prices.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is now available with a $200 upfront discount, while the Galaxy S26 and S26+ are getting a smaller but significant price cut of around $100. These discounts are applied directly to your bill, with no trade-ins or carrier obligations required.
This change is notable because the initial release relied heavily on conditional deals. Early buyers were offered discounts through trade-ins, contract plans, or bundled accessories that could significantly reduce the price, but only under certain conditions. These requirements have now been removed, making the devices more affordable for customers.
Retailers like Amazon and Best Buy have added their own options. Some listings include additional incentives like gift cards or bundles, and trade-in programs are still available alongside the main discounts. In some cases, combining offers can result in total savings of as much as $720, depending on eligibility and the value of the device.
The devices themselves remain divided into three tiers: the standard S26, the larger S26+, and the feature-rich S26 Ultra. While each model varies in size and price, they share key upgrades, including upgraded processors, AI-powered features, and expanded software support. The Ultra model in particular stands out with additions like an integrated S Pen and improved display features.
