We, as bloggers want to keep our readers on our websites, doing everything that for them are interesting and comfortable, but did you ever think your article is enough in quality and the visitors find all information they needed? To know this is difficult.

Some don’t find the niche they are searching for. Other’s don’t like the writing style. But the most what I has discovered, they don’t like long articles. Like people don’t like long lines by the doctor, long answers from Google, they are seeking short finds. And the short blogging wins!

The future readers goes through headlines, highlighted text or scroll from top to down, they does not absorb everything and you lost 90% of your audience. As they pass by, they glance over, they snack. The solution is short blogging.

Be honest, don’t write1000 words because it is a necessity, plan, spread the most interesting facts, focus on the distribution and relevance of information, strive to make the article clean, add some imagery, and that’s the key to the reader’s heart.

Don’t forget to give people humor so that reading becomes a kind of fun, use bulleted lists, write in short sentences.

What works best

  • Short and easy paragraphs: 3–4 sentences is the maximum, as it works psychologically to keep the reader’s attention.
  • Clear understandable subheadings: This makes the content an impression of cleanliness and more trust in you.
  • Bulleted lists: This simplifies sentences and makes them clearer to understand.
  • Highlighted Text: Use the bold tool or highlights to to emphasize the most important details so that after reading them, the reader can instantly understand what that article is about.
  • A little humor: We are real humans, not machines.

Pay more attention to:

I write inclusively about what is said, “A little is a lot.” Every sentence should be worth its weight in gold.

There has to be room for certain nuances, like jokes, quirks, and personality.

There’s no need to overdo it, give the reader some room to imagine, so that the sentence does more than it should and is easy to digest.

Plan and organize

A lack of structure can confuse the reader. I like some planning so I can express my thoughts neatly.

Each section must fulfill a certain pre-planned role.

If your blog is as well-designed as a good store shelf, I’m already on it. 🥰

Lists with factual insight, written not just for fun, but in a style that presents real information.

Visualize it

A large block of gray text on a blog is not attractive.

Blogs that I particularly like must to include:

  • Big and strong headlines;
  • Short paragraphs;
  • White space to give a room to breathe;
  • A little bit of emojis 😜

Emotional writing

A little humor provides emotion, easy to write, but also more enjoyable to read. It shouldn’t be a rat race to see who can get the most. Free mind is what makes people human. If you can make me laugh and teach me something, I will read every single word.

A little humor never hurt anyone.

If you are minimally funny and don’t regret it, you are a winner.

Skimming and writing

We live in a world where we are constantly skimming information, whether we like it or not. Readers absorb a piece of information, take away a nugget of wisdom, and continue to look for new opportunities.

Writing, understanding and respecting – this we need to understand forever:

  • Have obvious conclusions;
  • Inject bold and highlighting the main points and ideas;
  • Break down complex minds into easily digestible fragments;
  • Avoid large blocks of text.

Basically, write the article as if the reader had been in an accident, broken the law, and fled without making direct eye contact with the police. 🤯

Features of short blogging

A structure you can use when writing your articles:

  1. The hook – something important with a bit of humor in short.
  2. Extremely important  writing 3–4 sentences is enough.
  3. The main idea – teach something. Create value. No nonsense.
  4. Short lists or steps – make it easily digestible.
  5. Obvious conclusions – just something you can use or remember.
  6. Final – Close with something cool.

Finally

Remember that your critics are not insensitive. They assume many things. They may also be writers who may not like your writing, but they can express their opinions. Open your heart and nobody stops you to create most readable article.

You don’t need a bulky and long text. It should have everything tightly packed. Leave some space for your thoughts to express themselves and breathe. Thanks for reading, I think you will find it incredibly useful.
