One of the most important mobile device industry exhibitions of the year, MWC 2026, is taking place in Barcelona from March 2 to 5. Tecno is a regular guest at the event: the company’s press service shared information about this year’s new products with Rozetked.

Among the most important premieres were the launch of the flagship Camon 50 smartphone series, the launch of an artificial intelligence ecosystem, and the announcement of a strategic partnership with Tonino Lamborghini.

“Camon 50” series smartphones
“Tecno takes mobile photography to the next level by combining Sony’s flagship sensors with a dedicated AI-driven computing architecture. This synergy allows the smartphone to ‘think’ while taking photos, delivering professional-quality images in an instant.”
Highlights include SuperZoom FlashSnap, a motion capture mode that uses artificial intelligence to capture dynamic scenes without shutter lag, and AI Auto Zoom, which automatically composes the shot.
Beyond the lens, the CAMON 50 series is also a comprehensive AI creative hub. From the AI Art Gallery that turns photos into digital masterpieces, to the one-click productivity-boosting FlashMemo and the deeply integrated AI assistant Ella, the entire series ensures that advanced intelligence meets users’ specific needs.
Tecno AI ecosystem
One of the main events of MWC 2026 was the announcement of the Tecno x Tonino Lamborghini partnership and the launch of a jointly developed line of devices.
The exclusive series includes the Tonino Lamborghini Tecno Taurus (Mega Mini G1 Pro) gaming mini-PC, the limited edition Pova Metal Tonino Lamborghini smartphone, and other devices with the Tonino Lamborghini brand.
Tecno is also showcasing other new products at its stand: an updated Megabook laptop line, artificial intelligence-based wearable smart devices, and an improved solution that ensures seamless interaction between the brand’s various devices – OneLeap.
AI development plans and updated Ella assistant
At the Tecno AI booth at MWC 2026, the company is showcasing expanded multilingual capabilities developed in collaboration with regional partners: mixed Hindi and English recognition, support for Modern Standard Arabic and Iraqi dialects.
The company notes that continued investments will expand language support and optimize AI features across a wider range of devices.
These efforts are already paying off. Tecno has become the first in the industry to support Hausa, the largest language in West Africa, and has also significantly improved the recognition accuracy of English and French with African accents.
These languages have been equipped with offline features to ensure that the AI remains effective even when the internet connection is unstable.
In addition to voice-activated features, Tecno AI is also integrating into everyday tasks: in some regions, users can already purchase mobile data directly through the smart assistant, and in others, order a taxi or food.

As for the artificial intelligence assistant Ella, at MWC 2026, the company introduced the new version of HiOS 16 and a completely updated design and features of the smart assistant.
The update introduces a new “air” interface design and a redesigned zero screen, which combines productivity tools, smart home services, AIGC content generation, and translation features into a single interface.
Ella has become a more context-aware and proactive assistant: it provides smart recommendations for organizing tasks, can recognize music tracks, and more.
