Wix launches Wix Harmony, a ‘vibe coding’ AI website builder
An AI website builder that doesn't sacrifice stability.
Wix has announced the launch of Wix Harmony, a new AI-powered website building tool that combines natural language website building with Wix’s existing visual editor. The company unveiled the product in New York and said it will begin rolling out to consumers in English in the coming weeks.
Wix is positioning Harmony as a tool for building fully functional, production-ready websites, rather than quick demos, addressing the common trade-offs between fast website development and ready-to-deploy websites.
Since then, development has continued on an advanced editor that operates on two parallel tracks, combining an artificial intelligence assistant with a fully flexible visual interface, rather than forcing users to commit to one or the other.
At the heart of the experience is Aria, Wix’s AI agent that stays active throughout the development process, rather than disappearing after the first draft. Aria can perform a variety of tasks, from cosmetic changes like color updates to structural requests like reorganizing layouts or adding commerce features. Importantly, Wix is positioning Aria as a constant collaborator who understands how a website is built and how changes in one area affect the rest of it.
This is where Wix Harmony tries to differentiate itself from the growing wave of “vibe” coding tools that generate quick demos but struggle to handle real-world requirements. Many AI-powered builders produce brittle results that can break during further editing or be unsafe to deploy. Wix says Harmony solves this problem by running on existing enterprise-grade infrastructure, ensuring that changes made by AI remain production-ready and consistent across the entire site.
