Xiaomi has released a new generation of budget laptops, the Redmi Book 2026. The new models come in two screen sizes and have virtually identical specifications.
Both laptops are powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor with a TDP of up to 60 W and have 16 to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM with a speed of 7467 MT/s.
The 14-inch version features a glossy display with a 2880×1800 resolution, 500 nits of brightness, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It weighs 1.49 kg. The 16-inch version has a 2560×1600 resolution and 400 nits of brightness, and also supports a 120 Hz refresh rate. It weighs 1.86 kg.

Both laptops have an equally rich set of ports: two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a 3.5 mm jack, an HDMI output, and two USB-C ports: one 3.2 Gen 2 and the other Thunderbolt 4.
The Redmi Book 14 2026 starts at 5,499 yuan for the base 16GB+512GB version. The higher-end 16-inch version is slightly more expensive, 5,699 yuan for the same storage capacity.
