Xiaomi revealed when start selling electric cars in Europe
Last November, Xiaomi tested the SU7 in Germany, thus starting to prepare for its launch in Europe.
Xiaomi has long been talking about its intention to start car sales in Europe, and now there are more concrete guidelines. The start of sales is scheduled for the second half of 2027, writes ArenaEV.

In the first phase, Xiaomi will introduce more high-end models to Europe, focusing on economically developed countries. Later, more affordable cars will be introduced, along with a gradual expansion to other European markets.
The company also confirmed that it plans to start producing right-hand drive models in early 2028. At the same time, Xiaomi hopes to enter countries where such cars are standard equipment. The names of the markets are not officially disclosed, but the United Kingdom is one of the main candidates.
Ahead of its European debut, Xiaomi is looking to significantly strengthen its position in China: the company wants to sell 550,000 cars in 2026, up from 400,000 a year ago. The YU7 model is expected to be the main driver of this growth until new cars are added to the range.
