YouTube surpassed Disney, Paramount, and WBD in ad revenue
According to Moffett Nathanson, YouTube's total revenue will reach approximately $62 billion in 2025.
Analysts call YouTube “the new king of the media market” by the end of 2025. The total revenue of the video hosting service will reach about 62 billion US dollars. This is more than the combined revenue of Paramount, Warner Bros., and even Disney’s media division ($60.9 billion). Researchers at Moffett Nathanson shared the data as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

YouTube’s advertising revenue will reach $40.4 billion in 2025, more than the combined advertising revenue of Disney, NBC, Paramount, and Warner Bros. ($37.8 billion).
Google’s video-sharing service is currently valued at $500 billion to $560 billion, far more than traditional media companies. YouTube’s closest competitor is Netflix, which has a market capitalization of $409 billion.
Moffett Nathanson predicts only YouTube growth in the future. On the one hand, Google is successfully investing in artificial intelligence, which helps creators manage their content, but on the other hand, traditional media corporations are increasingly faced with shrinking television audiences and rising production costs.
Advertisers are also choosing YouTube over television.
