Disney honors Winnie-the-Pooh on its 100th anniversary with a cute collection
No matter how old you are or where in the world you grew up, you surely know Winnie-the-Pooh!
A hundred years after his first appearance on the pages of the comic, Winnie-the-Pooh is still becoming visible in new places. A new anniversary collection from Disney treats the character’s long history as both something to honor and something to wear.

The 100th Anniversary Collection, now available at the Disney Store, includes a variety of apparel for wear and display as souvenirs. Spirit T-shirts, themed jumpsuits, and plush character figures feature Pooh alongside Piglet, Tigger, and others.
Collectors will especially love the limited edition knitted Pooh. The Disney Store has positioned it as the first release in a quarterly plush series that will also include Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger. The plush toy is dedicated to two anniversaries at once: the 60th anniversary of the first Disney animated film about Pooh, Winnie the Pooh and Honey Tree (1966), and the upcoming 100th anniversary of the original book by A. A. Milne.
The limited edition collection:

The selection is largely based on familiar visual elements from The Hundred Acre Wood. A few items are inspired by Shepard’s original illustration style. Prices are geared towards basic gifts, with most items ranging from the mid-$20s to under $100.
