Beyoncé is now a billionaire, joining 4 other music artists
In December 2025, Beyoncé became the fifth musician to reach a 10-figure fortune.
Beyoncé has added a new title to her already crowded career, and this time it’s – 10 zeros. The singer has crossed the billionaire mark, reaching a financial milestone that few musicians achieve.

Beyoncé may not spend “a billion to look this good,” but she’s worth this large amount.
Beyoncé’s net worth is now $1 billion, according to Forbes’ year-end wealth rankings released Monday. That figure puts her in a very small group of musicians who have achieved billionaire status, along with her husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen.
The direct driver of this surge was her 2025 “Cowboy Carter” tour. It grossed more than $400 million in ticket sales, with merchandise adding about $50 million. Because the tour was self-produced, Beyoncé kept a larger share of the profits than artists who rely on outside producers.
Tours, rather than streaming or record sales, have once again proven to be the most reliable revenue driver at the top of the music business.
This success was built on an already solid foundation. Her 2023 “Renaissance World” tour grossed nearly $580 million, one of the biggest of the decade. In addition to live performances, revenue continued to accrue from concert films, licensing, streaming, and long-term catalog ownership.
Her control of major recordings was particularly significant, as it ensured a steady income in an era when streaming royalties alone rarely enrich artists.
The “Break My Soul” singer has sold over 120 million solo records and an additional 60 million with Destiny’s Child. All eight of Beyoncé’s studio albums debuted at the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s top 200 list, making her the first woman to reach that accomplishment.
“Men often have the luxury of being perceived as the strategists, the brains behind their ventures,” Beyoncé said. “They’re given the space to focus on the product, the team, the business plan. Women, on the other hand, especially those in the limelight, are frequently pigeonholed into being the face of the brand or the marketing tool.”
She added, “It’s important to me to continue to take the same approach I have taken with my music and apply my learnings to my businesses.”
In recent years, Beyoncé has launched hair care brand “Cécred” and whiskey label “SirDavis”, as well as high-profile endorsement deals, including a reported $10 million partnership with Levi’s. However, Forbes noted that while these ventures diversify her income, they remain secondary to the revenue she generates from touring and catalog ownership.
Recorded music remains foundational, but the industry’s greatest wealth is now created through live performances, control of intellectual property, and brand development.
